We recently had Grant's one-year checkup with his pediatrician. He weighs 18 pounds and 12 ounces (5th percentile) and is 28.75 inches tall (10th percentile). He is still a bit on the small side, but he is growing well. He also has seven teeth - soon to be eight. His skills include giving kisses, waving, playing hide and seek, and clicking his tongue (when he feels like it). He has taken a few steps on his own (mostly when he thinks no one is looking), but he still thinks it is easier to crawl or get someone to pick him up. Which doesn't mean that he isn't walking well with his push toy. We counted an average of about 120 steps around 'the loop' in our house in only about 30-45 seconds (depending on wether or not he stops to dance to the music playing in the family room).
